Extracting data from datasheets and papers

If you have ever had to work with vendors supplying datasheets as PDFs and wanted to extract curves - I'd highly recommend PlotDigitiser. Take a screenshot (Windows + shift + S) of the graph and upload it to the app. Set your x and y axis limits and create points by left-clicking.
All of the points created can then be exported in any format (e.g. MS Excel). I've used this previously to extract pump curves from a vendor datasheet to be used in process simulations.
Currently, I am reproducing an academic paper to validate my adsorption simulator AdSim.
The CO2 breakthrough curve from the paper:
I then extracted the data using PlotDigitiser to create this:
With the raw data, I can then compare my simulation results. Of course, having the raw data would be better, but if that’s not possible, digitising is your best bet.
